Uniform & standards — July 2026
A lawn green bowls coach should wear a coach’s top so players, parents, visitors and officials can clearly identify who is responsible for the session. It helps the coach look professional, approachable and organised.
In bowls coaching, clear adult roles support good safeguarding practice and help create a safe, well-managed environment. A coach’s top separates the coach from players, club members and spectators.
Wearing the correct coaching clothing also sets the right standard. If players are expected to follow dress rules, coaches should lead by example and represent the club responsibly.
