It has certainly been an eventful few months since lock-down in mid-March.  It was sudden, right at the end of the indoor season, to suddenly be told, isolate, do not do this, do not do that etc and those at serious risk to isolate yourself from all.

To all of our member coaches, please keep safe and secure and well!!!  You are all precious and valued!

For those who are lock-down for safety and health reasons, it is hard when the weather has been so good in May to not be on the Bowling Greens.  Our National Governing Bodies have, however, been in contact with Sport England and thus with the Government to try and let us back to form of normality and enjoy our sport.  At present, due to the rate of infection and the fact that a great many of us are 'gaining in years' we have to take care, and so our sport must gradually get back to normal service - how long it takes, we do not know and we are where we are......  We must try and keep ourselves healthy and safe and be ready when the time comes to assist our local clubs to survive.

We are in the hands of science and political decisions.  As lock-down gradually eases, life on the bowling green will gradually return to normal (we hope).

To assist you all, below I attach the latest guidelines and guidance from each of our NGBs.  I will update the site with the latest guidances, as and when they appear in the form of updated news items.  Click the file name to bring up the pdf file on the site.
